fall loves: day one.

When I was thinking about what my next post should be about, I was immediately reminded of how much I LOVE FALL. Fall weather, fall fashion, fall holidays, everything. So this new series is my Fall Loves. I'm hoping to post a few favorites a few times a week, with links to where you can find the clothes/shoes/beauty products. Here goes nothing!

First of all, one of the best things about fall is getting to wear boots. Duh. But I am absolutely obsessed with this look. I can't wait to wear this with a fun dress and jacket. Definitely a go-to look for me this season.

latest obsessions:

These are the products i've recently discovered that are amazing enough to make the obsessions blog post... here it goes!

Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine:
This stuff is...... awesome. It makes my hair so smooth and soft. I tend to use it right after I get out of the shower, although I sometimes will use it after I straighten to tame any frizz or to prevent major poofy-ness (yes, poofy-ness). And at $3, you can't go wrong.

Bobbi Brown Tinted Eye Brightener:
This concealer/brightener has become my savior. At $38, its way pricier than i usually go but for me its totally worth it. And with the school year in full swing, I need as much help as i can get not looking like I didn't get any sleep.

Too Faced Sunny Bunny Bronzer:
My summer tan may be fading, but this is my fall go to just-come-home-from-the-beach-tan. I love this, and its perfect to throw in your bag for school just to freshen up.

Smashbox Limitless Beauty Kit:
Okay, this is probably my ultimate favorite. This. Kit. Is. Amazing. Everything from the lip gloss to the palette is amazing, and for $39, I think its a great deal. And this blush is my absolute favorite that I own.

Short Hair:
Jen, your hair is awesome. I'm obsessed. Thats why i got mine cut like yours. I'm loving it and this look for fall!

okay, thats it. i have been inspired. once a week, i will attempt to post about fashion, beauty, and/or current obsessions. here we go......

the first of many (hopefully.)

blogging. what it blogging? i almost feel like i should be all artsy or something. i've decided that this is going to be a pretty selfish adventure. all about myself. a forum of what i like and what i'm doing and what i want to do. why? cause i can.
so what the heck am i doing? this could be so many things. diary of a high schooler. or even confessions of a teenager. but thats been done before. its about me. all about me! (haha i'm so stuck up.)
i've decided that i think everything looks better in all lowercase letters. it just looks more uniformed. so sorry english teachers, this isn't your kinda place.
i think that every other post is going to be individually devoted to an obsession of mine. at least two posts a week is going to be my goal for now, and if that works and i like this then i'll start doing more.
the thing i like most is getting to design my own webpage. i think its pretty darn awesome. but thats totally my personality, i'm all in if it has ANYTHING to do with design. you'll see...
